Our Response to COVID-19

As president of Crown Point, my number one priority is the health and well-being of our amazing crew, our outstanding professionals and our wonderful clients.

For starters, I am asking my crew to follow the common-sense guidelines from the CDC to help prevent the possible spread of the virus.

As a company, we are taking extra measures to clean and disinfect common areas. Maintenance will be cleaning and disinfecting these areas multiple times daily. As we plan to continue operations during this time, these measures are critical for the crew and any guests to our facility. Employees are being given time for cleaning and disinfecting personal workspaces. Whether in an office or on the shop floor, the goal is for areas to be safe for the employee and their coworkers. We are also ensuring that all employees understand they are not allowed to work if they are not healthy.

Many of our employees have children in schools that are now closed until further notice. Employees that are now in a position to find temporary childcare are being given the flexibility they need to solve this temporary challenge.

As per the request of the President of the United States, we are suspending all staff travel for the next 15 days. We understand this can provide a minor interruption in the outstanding service we normally provide. While no business wants to take these steps, we feel it is responsible to listen to those in charge of getting the virus under control sooner than later.

As such, our showroom will also be closed to our professional partners, clients and visitors for the next 15 days. (March 18 – April 1)

During this time, salespeople are being asked to work with clients and professionals remotely.

We know many of you are in the midst of various stages of design and installation of your projects, and we want you to know that Crown Point Cabinetry will do everything we can to help you keep your projects on schedule. At this time, we do not anticipate any Crown Point induced interruption to your schedule or deliveries. Besides working remotely with your sales designer, we wanted to remind you of a few ways we can work together to keep your projects moving.

We have been made aware of some projects being delayed due to the situation we now face. We are asking all of our clients to let us know if they are experiencing interruptions. We will do everything we can to help accommodate your new schedules. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you find your project facing delays.

On a personal note, I am optimistic the measures being taken by everyone across our great country will put this situation behind us sooner rather than later.
